Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work with partners, special counsel, associates, paralegals, and support staff. Review and redact documents for production. Research and apply local rules and judicial standing orders of federal and state courts. Perform document searches on iManage and Relativity, and case searches using Westlaw and Lexis. Assist with depositions, including preparation of exhibits and coordinating with vendors. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit and witness binders, preparing a record of deposition and hearing transcripts, pleadings, and will discover and perform other projects/responsibilities as assigned. Should have a bachelor's degree. A paralegal certificate is a plus. Must have 3-5 years of general litigation experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to work independently and on a team. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and litigation support programs. Have knowledge of appellate practice, motion practice, discovery, and court rules. Flexibility to work overtime. Notary Public license is a plus. Must be resourceful. Have a positive, helpful attitude. Have a strong skill set. Be willing to ask questions and learn new tasks. Be able to balance and prioritize multiple assignments, and be able to hit the ground running.
