Intellectual Property Attorney Duties: Preparing and filing office action responses and patent applications. Documents related to U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. Strategic portfolio counseling. Opinions (patentability, right-to-use, infringement, validity). Due diligence. Requirements: BS in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and/or computer science. Engineering experience pertaining to both hardware and software. 3 years' claim drafting and prosecution experience required. Strong academics and very strong technical background. Exposure to foreign Patent Policy. USPTO Registration required. Should be capable of supporting a wide range of domestic and foreign patent protection and procurement efforts in a team-oriented environment. Must have a strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering, computer science and software background. Prior engineering experience would be valued. Strong academic credentials, USPTO registration required, state bar licensing a plus.
