Though the Los Angeles office of this full-service litigation firm continues to specialize in complex insurance litigation coverage, the firm’s main office has recently tried to cash in on the technology litigation market to “bring some growth to the firm.” The transition has not been an easy one; the firm has had an unusually high attrition rate in recent years (insiders tell us some associates left to pursue government jobs but many departed for better money with different firms). However, while salaries remain slightly below market, many observers think the firm is capable of breaking through.
Business Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for direct client contact, preparing and filing non-immigrant visa petitions and green card applications. Should have a strong background in PERM, EB 1, I-140s, and I-485s. Must be able to identify potential issues arising in EB-2 and EB-3 cases. Background in H-1B, L-1, E-3, and TNs is preferred. Those with both NIV and IV experience will be considered first.
