Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for: trial preparation; drafting and filing pleadings and motions; and indexing litigation files. Draft complaints, discovery and e-file lawsuits for personal injury clients. Schedule and set depositions, hearings and mediation conferences. Issue subpoenas to witnesses for depositions and trial appearance. Gather case evidence and documentation by preparing files, inputting information in medical records, statements of charges, client and witness statements, and lost-wage documentation. File physical copies. Log incoming mail. Contact medical providers, insurance companies, collection agencies, and others statements. Prepare and update case correspondence. Assist with insurance claim settlements/negotiation. Assist with mediations and depositions. Update the Trial Works case/client database. Assist with discovery requests. Must have 10+ years of civil trial experience.
