Litigation Paralegal Duties: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform them essential functions.. Prepare, finalize and file pleadings with the court. Create and maintain client files. Calendar court dates and deadlines. Communicate with court clerks, opposing counsel and clients. Assist with document retrieval, review, organization, and production. Assist with overflow work and other projects as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Qualifications: Associate Degree. 1+ year experience in a law firm or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to locate specific items on the internet. Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff including internal and external clients. Flexibility for unscheduled overtime as needed.
