Business Immigration Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation of various applications filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Maintain communication with clients and help guide them through the immigration process. Maintain client files and meet deadlines. Help the clients with non-immigrant and immigration related issues including filing H-1B Petitions, L- 1 Petition, International travel, Visa sponsorship, Green Card process and status requests and updates. Create and oversee processes and procedures in order to efficiently coordinate documentation required for visa processing on all Immigrant and non-immigrant applications. Ensure processes & procedures are in place so that all immigration application filings related to employment-based Non-Immigrant and Immigrant petitions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Be the go-to person for all immigration and filing procedures, compliance processes, and other related queries. Expertise working on complete GC and H-1B process from collecting required documentation from employees, initiating forms to approval. Assist in the preparation of permanent residency cases (PERM Processing) per the company immigration policy. Work closely with the attorneys in preparing, filing and tracking various immigration applications and petitions (H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, and I-485). Keep updated on immigration and compliance policies and procedures. Expertise working with H-1B RFE responses, PERM Audit responses which include communicating with employees, coordinating with vendors and other teams to collect the required documents, consult attorneys as required ensuring timely filings. Complete other projects and initiatives as assigned. General office and support duties including: photocopies, faxes, and document scanning; retrieve and/or return files; other duties as assigned; and address envelops and packages. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree. An associate degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred. Must have 2+ years of proven Business Immigration experience. Should be a self-starter who can work independently. Also, be a quick learner who works in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize is essential Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Fluency in Spanish will be a huge plus. Must have relevant references.
