The Sillicon Valley office of this firm represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including: insurance defense, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, toxic torts, professional liability, products liability, environmental, and real estate litigation. The firm’s compensation package is not competitive and the firm’s attorneys face a demanding work schedule. The firm values collegiality and diversity in hiring attorneys; strong academic credentials, though helpful, are not essential.
Paralegal The candidate should have 2+ years of insurance defense and trial prep experience. Should have Preferably a Bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate required. Must have strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills. Must be Proficient in computer programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe. Experience performing the following tasks preferred: Drafting standard discovery including subpoenas and privilege logs; Factual and legal research; Summarize transcripts; Trial preparation; Electronic discovery.
