Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will work daily with attorneys, clients, expert witnesses, investigators, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters. Will gather pre-litigation discovery. Work with medical treaters on gathering records and medical bills, as well as negotiate medical liens. Draft and file pleadings using electronic filing. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in a personal injury claim. Draft demand packages to insurance companies and speak with adjusters. Pre-litigation - Finding insurance coverage, work with investigators, gather information from clients. Assist with client intake - Speak with and gather information from potential clients. Must preferably have 1 year of experience. Should have worked extensively in personal injury law. Must be efficient in technology - Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems (Aderant Total Office, formerly Client Profiles).
