Part-time Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Responsibilities: Open New files. Order and review title reports, surveys, lien searches, and obtain payoffs from lenders. Collaborate with title insurance agencies to coordinate clearance of title issues. Draft title commitments and policies. Prepare closing documents and checklists. Maintain calendar, track deadlines, and schedule meetings, conferences, and closings. Initiate and verify wires-both incoming and outgoing. Prepare disbursements and payoffs for closing. Record of documents with the Clerk of Court. Perform other clerical duties and other items as they arise. Qualifications: Must have 2+ years of previous commercial real estate experience; very knowledgeable with commercial real estate closings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail. Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word and Outlook); experience with Landtech (closing software) a plus, but not required. Must be a team player with a great attitude. Should have a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to multitask and possess attention to detail.
