Attorney - Residential Real Estate Compliance / Wire Attorney The candidate requires an understanding of purchase money transactions and all aspects of the closing process. In addition, must possess a strong ability to develop and deepen relationships with clients and customers in the local market. Ideal candidates will be highly intelligent, hard-working, creative, result-driven, and confident in his or her abilities. Complete and thorough review of each Closing File to ensure the File is Balanced in the Software's accounting system. Review Invoices (payoffs, liens, judgments, taxes), Title Opinions, Closing Statements, Deposits, Wire Instructions, Recordables, Title Updates, and other title clearing items for accuracy. Review all legal documents prior to recordation to ensure all necessary aspects have been completed properly. Review the Closing Statement to confirm all figures are accurate and match with Software's accounting system. Sign Checks and Release Wires. Should have J.D. from accredited Law School. North Carolina bar license required. 1+ years of real estate law experience preferred.
