Legal Secretary Responsibilities: Scheduling, to include maintaining calendars, court dockets and rosters. Document management and analysis for large cases. Keen attention to detail and organization. Medical record summaries and chronologies. Procurement of medical records/HIPPA compliance. Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests. Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses. Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel. Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court. Qualifications: Three or more years experience working in a law firm. Thorough understanding of the litigation process. Keen attention to detail and organization. Ability to Prioritize. Knowledge of court and administrative hearing rules and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Work, Excel, Outlook, etc and other legal software applications. Professional demeanor, excellent communication and computer skills. Must be flexible with the ability to handle a large caseload in a fast paced environment. Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Team member who participates in shared office duties and requirements.
