Associate Attorney Responsibilities: Preparation of immigration packets to be sent to USCIS, NVC, Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Responsible for conducting legal research and keeping current on all immigration legal issues. Representing clients in adjustment of status interviews, naturalization interviews, asylum interviews and/or immigration court proceedings hearings. Ability to formulate creative legal strategies within the framework of all governmental and other regulations, laws and related policies, to provide our clients with the best legal advice possible. Draft and file affidavits, and Motions to Reopen/Reconsider, Briefs and memorandums. On-going communication with the client, and supervising attorneys regarding cases. Qualifications: JD Degree with experience in Removal Defense, Family Based Immigration law and/or Affirmative Asylum. 1-2 years of experience in immigration law (I-130, I-485, N-400, I-751, NVC processing, and waivers). Empathetic and passionate about work and providing solutions for our clients. Bi-lingual (English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Gurajati). Ability to problem solve. Ability to work under pressure. Strategic thinker. Demonstrates Leadership. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you will be in direct contact with clients. Understanding of the Eimmigration (Cerenade) case management software is a plus. Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word). Excellent understanding of Google systems (GDrive, Google Calendar, Gmail).
