Paralegal - Bankruptcy And Restructuring The candidate will support the firms national restructuring practice on a variety of commercial bankruptcy and restructuring matters, as well as Delaware litigation matters. Will handle matters for attorneys throughout the firm. E-filing and service of pleadings with bankruptcy courts and other state and federal courts. Preparing hearing binders, exhibit binders and related materials for Court. Preparing monthly fee statements, quarterly fee applications and supporting exhibits. Providing legal and internet research support to attorneys. Preparing proofs of claim. Drafting basic Court notices and certifications. Calendaring of all case-related deadlines and monitoring dockets. Coordinate telephonic hearing appearances for attorneys through Courtcall. Work closely with other practice groups and offices on matters related to restructuring cases. Review and edit documents and exhibits, charts and diagrams. General litigation support including e-filing in the Delaware State Courts and Supreme Court, working with rules and procedures in those courts, and other related tasks. Other duties as assigned. Must have Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification or equivalent work experience. Should have 3-5 years of commercial bankruptcy paralegal experience is preferred. Knowledge of Delaware state practice and procedures is a plus. Experienced litigation paralegals desiring to gain bankruptcy experience also will be considered. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and electronic data rooms.
