Junior Associate Attorney Candidate must be admitted to practice in Florida. Must have 2 years of litigation experience in either the State Attorney's Office, Public Defender's Office, or other similar trial-centric positions. Must have a track record of actually going to trial. Someone who has tried 15-20 trials. Must be proficient on Westlaw. Must have: State Attorney's Office or Public Defender's Office experience (2+ years); Trial experience; Jury selection experience; Experience handling client intake; Experience preparing and responding to discovery requests; Experience attending depositions; Experience negotiating and settling cases at mediation and settlement conferences; Experience litigating before multiple judges in the Southern/Middle/Northern Districts of Florida; Experience handling a large case load; Bilingual is a plus.
