Administrative Assistant / Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible to assist attorneys and other staff members with research and preparation of correspondence, corporate documents, court filings and litigation. Prepare and translate correspondence (e-mails, letters, etc.). Serve as a liaison between attorneys and Japanese-speaking clients. Perform word processing, transcription and data entry. Supervise Records Assistants, Answer telephone calls, Calendaring, Copying and filing, Schedule meetings and travel arrangements. The candidate must have minimum of 2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant. A Bachelors Degree is needed. Strong English and Japanese skills are needed (both verbal and written) (excellent business vocabulary, grammar and writing, accurate translations, effective communication skills). Must have pleasant and professional voice and attitude for excellent service to clients. Proficiency in a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite is critical (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with ACT, Timeslips, WordPerfect (or able to quickly learn to be proficient with software). Strong work ethic are needed and must be organized, detail-oriented, mature, friendly, professional and flexible.
