Legal secretary The candidate should preferably have 5+ years of experience in a law firm or legal environment. Must have prior experience with litigation procedures and processes, e-filing, and creating tables of authorities, familiarity with State and Federal court procedures and rules. Microsoft Word skills, Outlook, Excel are required. Excellent computer skills and experience with trial preparation are necessary. The ability to work in a team-based setting with other Legal Assistants supporting multiple attorneys is important. The ability to coordinate meetings, travel, expense reimbursements, and input time for attorneys are needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to multi-task is essential. Must be self-motivated, Detail-oriented, and a team player.
