Attorney Recruiting/Attorney Development Assistant The candidate handles applicant data entry, candidate and departmental correspondence, and expense tracking. Prepares statistical information for internal and external use as needed. Assists department manager and coordinator with campus and in-office interview programs, which includes support for event planning, preparation of materials, interview scheduling, interview evaluation tracking, and candidate expense reimbursements. Assists department manager and coordinator with the planning and implementation of the summer associate program. Assists with pre-hire due diligence, new hire onboarding, and orientation. Provides support with CLE administration, including monitoring attorney bar admissions, and continuing legal education compliance. Assists with attorney training and professional development programs, including coordination with presenters for materials, secure conference rooms, A/V equipment, catering, events, etc. Assists with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including those that support diversity efforts on-campus. Assists with efforts to promote attorney engagement, including the mentor program. Manages Firm resources responsibly. Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures. Provides assistance with department overflow and coverage. Performs other related duties as assigned. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible administrative experience in a law firm or similar setting required or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of Firm computer software programs (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation) with the ability to learn new software (WorkDay, LawCruit, and internet and intranet applications including RecruitConnect and Skadline) document management programs, and related systems is essential. Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing are required. The ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities is a must. The ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality is needed. The ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment. The ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team is also needed. Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs is desired.
