Associate Attorney Duties: Handling client's family law case including communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing for and attending mediations and settlement conferences, and preparing for and attending hearings and trials. Qualifications: Must be a licensed attorney with the State of North Carolina. Previous Family Law experience of 2 years preferred. Must be diligent, conscientious, thorough, and is able to deliver high-quality output and services to the clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to perform tasks quickly and develop common-sense solutions to new problems. Ability to accurately prepare detailed legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Legal technology skills and comfort creating and working with a defined process using various software packages.
