Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities will include: Preparation of legal documentation to include, notices, pleadings, motions, discovery, proposed orders; subpoenas and correspondence; Preparation of Title Files, ordering lien search, title search, estoppels and payoffs; Communicating, coordinating with counsel and clients; Maintaining calendar with deadlines and appointments; Scan documents into electronic files for processing; Create, maintain and organize case files; General office responsibilities commiserate with small office team. Paralegal Certificate or 3+ years of legal experience desirable. Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook mandatory, Excel Preferred). Practice Management Software experience and/or willing to learn is essential. Must have excellent legal knowledge with strength in Real Estate and Trust/Estate work. Solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills are essential.
