Attorney Recruiting & Development Manager (Firmwide) DUTIES: Support the Director of Attorney Recruiting on firmwide strategic projects and initiatives related to process, data analysis, branding, and technology. Manage updates to firmwide recruiting marketing materials including annual reports and surveys, flyers, ads, newsletters and distribution of information to the local offices. With support from the firmwide coordinator and assistant, serve as primary lead on projects within the department to execute firm recruiting initiatives. Provide support for the summer associate program and on-campus interviewing season as needed and serve as an ambassador for firmwide recruiting efforts. Oversee the implementation of the firmwide IP and Pro Bono Scholars Program recruiting efforts. Analyze recruiting trends and implement recruiting strategies to best directly source law school and lateral talent firmwide. Participate in scheduled Attorney Recruiting & Development conference calls and meetings. Manage the collection and analysis of firmwide recruiting data, and develop best practices to maximize use of the recruiting database in this process. With support from the firmwide coordinator and assistant, serve as the primary liaison with Firm IT in the ongoing technical support of the firm s attorney recruiting software applications and peripherals. Research and implement new functionality and processes with regard to the attorney recruiting database. Oversee updates to the back-end (configuration) of viRecruit and other department databases. Update template letters and signatures as directed, configure the summer associate Work Allocation databases, and facilitate the bulk resume upload during OCI. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of experience in legal recruiting in a law firm, with 1+ year in a managerial role desired. Ability to read, write and speak English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience in working with attorney recruiting databases required. Strong service orientation and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers; attorneys; office, firm and practice management; and outside business partners. Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure. Ability to manage multiple projects with specific deadlines and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to use initiative and judgment to accomplish results. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to delegate and manage resources effectively. Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail. Ability to use critique of work to improve performance.
