Insurance Defense And Personal Injury Defense Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will order, review and summarize employment and medical records. Draft discovery responses, notices, basic motions, orders, and settlement agreements. Schedule depositions, mediations, meetings, and inspections. Calendar discovery deadlines, depositions, hearings, and other events. Coordinate with records services to obtain employment, medical, billing, workers comp, and insurance records. Prepare open records requests. Interact capably with clients and legal professionals. Attend selected depositions and meetings with clients, witnesses, and other counsel. State and federal e-filing. Electronic file management of large, document-intensive cases. Should have 3-5 years of personal injury defense or insurance defense experience.
