Legal Secretary The candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. Responsibilities: Heavy editing, formatting and proofreading of documents; Produce accurate documents and general correspondence in a timely matter; Manage calendar using a high level of tact and integrity; Review and prioritize all client and other communications including emails and phone calls; Handle administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information; File maintenance and client billing; Make travel arrangements including air, hotel, etc.; Coordination of internal and external meetings, including room reservation, catering, etc.; Coordinating, preparing and reconciling expenses/invoices using Chrome River; General follow-up in order to effectively meet deadlines and commitments; Cover desks and responsibilities of other secretaries during absences; Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. Should have 10+ years of administrative support experience within a large organization; experience within a legal department, law firm, accounting or financial services firm preferred. High level of administrative and organizational skills, including excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Must have strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Should have demonstrated ability to take the initiative to spot problems before they arise, find solutions and provide timely follow through on projects.
