Tax & Estates Attorney Duties: Represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service in connection with gift and estate tax audits and to work alongside members of the firm s Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in connection with fiduciary litigation and tax controversy matters. Preparation of estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.). Preparation of marriage contracts. Preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns. Preparation of organizational and transactional documents for business entities. Qualifications: JD Degree from a top law school. LLM in tax preferred. Drafting experience. Should have experience preparing wills, trusts, marital agreements and powers of attorney. Should also have experience with estate administration, including the preparation of estate tax returns and charitable planning. advise family businesses and structure transactions to transfer ownership in a tax efficient manner, and the ideal candidate will have familiarity with corporate governance issues. xcellent research and writing skills.
