Mid-Level Litigation or Environmental Associate Attorney The candidate should have either litigation experience with a desire to become a leader in cases involving challenging legal and expert issues, or regulatory experience with a strong interest in environmental law. Should have a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials required. Status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state jurisdiction and ability to become admitted to a bar in one of the seven states offices are located. Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental law statutes, such as CERCLA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Should have CERCLA litigation experience and interest should highlight that in their applications. Strong analytical, research, writing and oral communication skills, attention to organization and detail, ability to work well under deadlines, creative thinker, multitasker, and ability to assume significant client responsibilities required.
