Insurance Attorney The candidate will be responsible for managing own caseload. Appear in court on behalf of insurance clients during legal proceedings to argue motions. Analyze insurance client needs to identify solutions, and determine strong case arguments. Prepare all necessary legal documents for policyholders and cases, including briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence. Conduct legal research, audit for coverage issues, and draft legal documents to develop and implement winning defense strategies for cases. Must have some experience with legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis. Demonstrated capability to handle heavy caseload with minimal supervision is essential. Should have 2-3 years of litigation experience. Previous experience working in the insurance industry and prior insurance coverage experience or insurance defense litigation experience in an insurance law firm is required. Must have Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience representing clients for a minimum of 2 years. Insurance experience preferred. Trial experience is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Inbound sales experience is a plus.
