Recruiting Manager - Attorney The candidate reporting to the Director of Human Resources, oversee the management of firm-wide attorney recruiting, summer, and professional development programs. Oversee all aspects of the lateral hiring process for the Dallas office and provide support to all remote locations. Screen all resumes and respond to applicants. Solicit practice group interest, extend invitations to interview and maintain regular status report. Work with section heads and HR Director to identify staffing needs and report regularly on open positions. Communicate with executive search firms regarding lateral hiring as needed. Facilitate decision making process and follow-up, including offer letters and necessary reference checks. Oversee and manage the summer associate program. Maintain regular communication with all summer associates prior to arrival. Plan and coordinate summer associate training and mentoring programs. Maintain daily contact with summer associates. Oversee work assignments and work allocation, work with hiring chairs and mentors to ensure sufficient availability of open assignments through the summer. Oversee the mid- and end of summer evaluations and exit interviews. Assist in assessing practice group hiring needs and matching summer associates with individual practice groups. Prepare, maintain and monitor summer program budget. Pre-screen all unsolicited student resumes and respond to applicants. Work closely with the hiring chair to schedule on-campus interviews and coordinate all callback interviews. Prepare data for hiring committee and schedule meetings for fall recruiting decisions. Conduct interviewer training on an annual basis. Assess industry data regarding associate salaries and trends. Manage the administration of associate professional development in the areas of mentoring, work allocation, review and training. Conduct informal exit interviews with departing attorneys. Develop, maintain and oversee attorney recruitment materials. Participate in professional association activities for recruitment and development and participate on professional panels and committees. Develop and maintain relationships with law schools' career services offices. Prepare annual budget for recruitment, development, and diversity. Should have BA degree and 5-10 years experience in recruiting, professional development or marketing. Knowledge of and experience implementing Applicant Tracking Systems is required.
