Litigation Paralegal - Transportation Duties: Work on case teams and take initiative in the coordination of efforts. Leverage knowledge and experience to take initiative in managing multiple matters. Order and inventory medical, pathology, and radiology material. Have contact with experts, clients, opposing counsel, and other contacts. Diary case management deadlines. Schedule and prepare materials for witness and expert depositions. Assist in the organization of exhibits and binders in preparation for trial. Organize and maintain electronic case files. Review, analyze, and summarize medical records. Requirements: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree. 4+ years of experience as a defense litigation paralegal (trial experience strongly preferred). Highly organized and able to prioritize workload. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Quick learner who is enthusiastic about contributing to the team effort. Able to follow detailed instructions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to take ownership and initiative by actively managing files, deadlines, etc. Attentive to detail and highly accurate. Strong PC skills, especially MS Word and Excel.
