Paralegal Intellectual Property Litigation/Trial & Global Disputes Practice Duties: Performs a variety of duties to assist litigation lawyers. Will maintain positive contact with clients, observe confidentiality of client matters and must be a team-oriented paralegal. Complete understanding of the litigation process. Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery. Organize and maintain case files; coordinate with LPAs and other staff. Manage large cases and databases. Prepare and maintain issue; subject-matter, witness and deposition files. Review and analyze discovery requests and assist lawyers with discovery responses. Coordinate document reviews with legal team, clients, and vendors. Prepare privilege logs. Prepare and maintain document and transcript databases in various formats. Experience with litigation applications/databases such as Relativity. Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing. Interact with clients, consultants and vendors. Proficient in cite checking, Shepardizing and Bluebooking. Hands-on trial preparation and trial experience. Keep accurate time records. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with a 3.5 cumulative GPA. 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced firm(s). Strong, concise communication and written skills. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends; some travel may be necessary. Able to work both independently and as an integral member of the team; takes initiative.
