Family Law Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, subpoenas, notices, etc.; maintaining the calendar, deadlines, and reminders for the team; maintaining files, opening files, closing files, copying, scanning, etc. and communicating professionally with clients, attorneys, judges, etc. Will also be responsible for litigation and mediation preparation; trial binders; exhibits; witness preparation; client preparation; prepare Financial Statements; prepare inventories; draft and prepare subpoenas and related notices; draft and prepare depositions motions and notices, and meeting billable requirements. The candidate must have a college degree and/or paralegal degree from an accredited school (or currently obtaining). Should preferably have 1+ years of experience as a Paralegal and 1+ years of experience operating Microsoft Office. Must have knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure (Service, Subpoenas, Discovery, Calendaring Deadlines). Must have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in family law. Should be organized and detail-oriented; able to manage calendar and deadlines. Have excellent drafting and writing skills and excellent communication skills.
