Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Temporary The candidate will manage the law firm's calendar, download and file electronic documents into client files, create pdf documents, some filing of documents, some preparation of template Word documents some phone answering, and other administrative or clerical duties as needed. Will be trained by their counterpart prior to fully assuming the role. Should have an Associate degree with experience of 2 years in a law firm. Must be an organized team player. Must have law firm work experience and enough knowledge of civil litigation to maintain the law firm calendar. Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and handling pdf documents. Must have familiarity with Excel and either Adobe Acrobat or NitroPro. Knowledge of FINRA arbitration is a plus. Note: Urgently hiring. The temporary position is for a minimum of 2 months and eventually can become a permanent position for the right candidate.
