Family Law Paralegal The candidate will manage cases with minimal supervision and with attention to every detail. Will anticipate the individual needs of each client with a goal of minimizing the stress associated with the divorce process. Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, stipulations, discovery and correspondence. Manage time and documents for all discovery. Schedule hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations. Create charts and summaries and prepare exhibits for hearings and trials. Interact with attorney and client as appropriate to ensure all deadlines are met. Facilitate legal process by being an effective liaison between the firm's attorneys and clients. Support and listen to clients, answering questions and explaining the processes and time lines. Should be comfortable serving sophisticated clients in complex matters. Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Understand the legal process. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Must have 4 year of experience Associate paralegal. Should have family law or litigation experience that includes discovery work. Experience with e-filing is preferred. Bachelor s degree is strongly preferred.
