Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist Attorneys with Plaintiff Side Personal Injury, Business Tort, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense Matters. Conduct research. Maintain attorney's trial calendar (motion dates, hearings, depositions, travel, filing dates, deadlines, discovery dates, etc. ). Manage stages of a personal injury claim, including intake, demands, discovery, medical records,bills, damage charts, settlement memorandum, basic pleadings, initial filings. Make initial filings in criminal defense cases. E-filing. Communication and scheduling with various courts and opposing counsel.. Assist attorneys in preparation of depositions, trials, mediation, and appeals. Must have attention to detail and be self motivated. 2+ years paralegal experience are required. Must be proactive. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have excellent organizational skills.
