Legal Administrative - Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work closely with firm attorneys, management, and staff to maintain day-to-day administrative functions for the firm's litigation department. Responsibilities include reviewing daily reports, drafting motions for attorney review, filing motions with the court, processing/updating information appropriately in firm's case management system, communication regarding updates to clients regarding contested cases, and requests of information from clients. Handle report review of workload and initiation of motion drafting. Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly to keep the client informed of the status of the motion process via online systems and/or via email and telephone. Respond to inquiries from all stakeholders in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records in both client systems interface and firm system of record. Completion of legal assistant or paralegal diploma or equivalent experience a plus. Prior experience with foreclosure, litigation, motion drafting, and/or default mortgage servicing with specific regard to New Jersey desired. Should be skilled in the use of MS Office Suite of products, particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
