Litigation Paralegal Candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting the firm s team of litigation attorneys. Must have: 3+ years' experience as a litigation paralegal; Experience with Lexis and/or Westlaw; must meet the requirements of Bus. & Prof. Code section 6450 ; Experience in real estate related litigation and bankruptcy a plus; Large law firm experience a plus; and Must be proficient in MS Office programs. Experienced litigation paralegal comfortable with preparing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, subpoenas, and trial-related documents; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;. Willingness and ability to learn and perform new tasks, as needed;. Excellent interpersonal skills, including evidenced ability to work well with people at all levels both internally and externally, including attorneys, clients, courts, and outside counsel;. Strong analytical, drafting and proofreading skills as attention to detail is critical;. Willingness to consult with attorneys and to seek information necessary to complete projects and tasks;. Evidenced ability to work independently and to work on several projects simultaneously; and. Strong time management and project management skills, including ability to adhere to strict project deadlines, while being flexible in response to changes and delays.
