Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will be responsible for pre-litigation work up of an assigned docket of personal injury cases. Will assist with telephone, in-person intake and sign up of potential new clients. Assist with case evaluation, pre-litigation management, demand preparation and reviews, pre-litigation negotiation. File lawsuits, draft and respond to written discovery, take depositions, prepare clients and present them for depositions. Motion practice (including hearings), and handle friendly suits from start to finish. The candidate should have a J.D. degree with Texas State Bar license. Must have 1-3 years of experience. Experience with plaintiff's personal injury cases (i.e. MVA, commercial, premise liability) is required. Some personal injury litigation experience is a plus. Trial experience is an asset. Must have demonstrated negotiation experience. Solid knowledge of current Texas personal injury law, including causes of action, liability issues, damage elements, etc. is required.
