Immigration Attorney (Associate) The candidate responsibilities: Representing clients at interviews at USCIS field offices, asylum offices and immigration court. Drafting petitions, applications, motions, memorandums, briefs, and other legal documents. Must be admitted or about to be admitted to practice in New York State, and has relevant 2-3 years of direct experience in immigration law. The position will focus on preparing a wide range of employment-based and family-based immigration petitions and applications, as well as representation of clients in removal defense matters. Should have passion for protecting the rights of foreign-born individuals in the United States, and a deep interest in making a long-term commitment to well-respected and rapidly growing practice. Fluency in either Russian or Spanish is desirable. NY Bar Admission is required.
