Paralegal The candidate will prepare employment-based applications for attorney review and filing with government agencies including petitions for work visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-2, E-3), I-140 immigrant petitions (EB-1, EB-2), green card applications, and responding to Requests for Evidence from immigration agencies. While business-immigration experience is a plus. Excellent writing skills, including aptitude for weaving information from several sources into a single written document. Highly detail oriented and organized. Self-motivated to complete tasks timely and efficiently, and prioritize competing demands. Good interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Duties include drafting forms and letters detailing eligibility for a visa classification and other immigration benefits; obtaining and reviewing client documents; organizing evidentiary documents and assembling application packages; client communication (primarily by e-mail); placing and documenting advertisements for PERM applications; and various administrative duties including case management system maintenance, preparing mailings, verifying payment of invoices, and providing case updates to clients and attorneys, etc.
