Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be managing multiple client case files. Will be opening client files and initiating claims. Calendaring deadlines, scheduling various appointments. Tracking medical treatment and insurance policy coverage. Ordering medical records. Preparing demand packages. Drafting and filing Complaints. Drafting and filing various pleadings. Answering discovery. Correspondence with the Court and opposing parties. Scheduling depositions/mediation. Legal research. Keeping clients informed of case progress. Preparing settlement documents. Client, medical provider, insurance adjuster and attorney contact. Various other administrative duties as they arise. The candidate should have 5 years of Georgia Personal Injury experience and a paralegal certification, or 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in Georgia Workers Compensation a plus. Bi-lingual a plus. Experience with Time Matters or similar document management system a plus. Excellent computer and telephone skills preferred. Knowledge of personal injury/civil litigation deadlines and procedures is plus. Excellent communications skills plus. Time management and organizational skills desired.
