Litigation Attorney The candidate will handle cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial. Propound and respond to discovery, medical record review/summaries, conducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts, attend court hearings, prepare motions/oppositions, prepare case status reports to carriers, trial preparation. The candidate should preferably have 2 years of Civil Litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background, and a State Bar License. Prior insurance defense experience is preferred. Must be driven, a self-starter, and able to independently manage a caseload; reliable and able to work a caseload independently under the supervision of a firm partner. Must have the ability to multitask effectively; excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills are a must.
