Associate Attorney Creditors Rights Candidate must have: Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar. 2-3 years of experience handling creditors rights matters in New York state and federal courts, including: Mortgage Foreclosure Actions: Pleading, discovery, motion, calendar and trial practice in mortgage foreclosure proceedings; negotiation and execution of loan modification, short sale, deed-in-lieu of foreclosure and other loss mitigation transactions. Pleading, discovery, motion, calendar and trial practice in consumer and/or commercial replevin actions. Claim, pleading, motion, calendar and trial practice in chapter 7 and 13 consumer bankruptcy proceedings (including stay relief/adequate protection motions, objections to confirmation, valuation motions, adversary proceedings, loss mitigation mediations, etc.). Pleading, discovery, motion and trial practice in consumer finance related litigation matters (FDCPA, TCPA, TILA, etc.). Claim, pleading, discovery, motion and trial practice in real property title matters. Pleading, discovery, motion, calendar and trial practice in consumer and commercial debt collection actions. Excellent research, writing and analytical skills. Superior oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented, highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong case and client management skills.
