Associate Attorney The candidate should have experience in Texas family law, civil litigation and transactions. Must have 3 years full time experience. Will prefer attorneys who have worked for other private firms and/or maintained their own practice and are ready to rid themselves of administrative duties. Represent clients in court and handle their own docket of cases from start to trial. Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery, pretrial motions on behalf of clients and discovery. Advise clients on litigation, family law, wills, estates, trusts. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes, mediations. Preparation for trial and briefing. Should have strong analytical skills, good people skills and strong self-esteem.
