Associate Attorney The candidate will handle a range of litigation for a variety of plaintiffs and environmental areas, with an emphasis on consumer protection through Proposition 65 litigation and false and misleading claims suits. Will lead litigation efforts in federal district and appellate courts, state courts, and administrative tribunals. Drive settlement negotiations toward optimal resolutions for clients and public at large. Work with existing clients to develop new cases in a strategic fashion; conduct factual investigations, develop legal theories, draft pleadings and briefs, and otherwise manage new and existing cases. Collaborate in team problem solving, litigation strategy, and project management. Establish trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, outside co-counsel, clients, and industry partners. The candidate must be Licensed to practice law in the state of California. Should have 2+ years of litigation experience. Must have proven negotiation skills. Prior Proposition 65 experience a plus. Ability to master new competencies as required to address client needs. Must have proven research, analysis, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
