Litigation Paralegal The candidate will handle a substantial number of tasks, from the first contact with the client through resolution, including client intake, handling no-fault issues in matters involving motor vehicle accidents. Will have regular client communication (phone, email, in person, etc.). Submission of medical record requests and comprehensive analysis of medical records. Calendar management and scheduling (court appearances, depositions, meetings, etc.). Filing in both state (NYSCEF) and federal (PACER/ECF) courts, and service. Preparation of litigation documents, including pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, etc. Preparation of trial documents. Administrative responsibilities. The candidate should have 3+ years of direct plaintiff's personal injury law experience, including motor vehicle litigation and corresponding no-fault matters. Should have good and decisive judgment and has top-notch organizational skills. Fluency in Spanish and knowledge of Smart Advocate are both pluses. Knowledge of Smart Advocate and Lead Docket are pluses.
