Junior Immigration Attorney The candidate will draft and review employment-based non-immigrant petitions, Requests for Evidence (RFE), Appeals, Motions, and related documentation for H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, R-1 and other nonimmigrant visas. Oversee, manage, conduct recruitment, and draft and review petitions for EB-2 and EB-3 PERM cases. Draft and review employment-based immigrant petitions, Requests for Evidence (RFE), Appeals, Motions, and related documentation for EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, and other immigrant visas. Monitor filings progress and troubleshoot issues with government agencies such as U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of State, and the Department of Labor, among others. Prepare asylum applications and represent clients before USCIS Asylum Office and Immigration Court. Research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues for internal use and dissemination to clients. Draft and review family-based petitions. Review and manage case processes with National Visa Center. Manage client relationships and counsel clients on complex immigration issues. Manage and train staff on offices streamlined processes, advising team of changes in immigration law. The candidate must be licensed to pratice law (california preferred). Must have excellent English writing and oral communication skills. Excellent organization and computer skills required. 2+ years minimum experience in business immigration law preferred. Knowledge of H-1B, L-1, and PERM preferred.
