Immigration Attorney Duties : Will meet with potential immigration clients and complete intake. Represent clients in immigration court. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Research applicable areas of immigration law. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Requirements : The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience litigating detained and non-detained cases. Must be licensed in New York (NJ License is a plus). Previous experience in immigration law (1-2 years). Must have familiarity with drafting legal documents. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent writing, researching, negotiating and verbal communication skills are required.
