Personal Injury Attorney The candidate tasks may include: Communicating with clients, medical providers and insurance adjusters to develop claims. Negotiating various components of claims, including liability, medical bills, and potentially global resolution. Drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Oversee and manage a paralegal and supportive staff. Preparing discovery, respond to discovery requests, and prepare discovery meet and confer correspondence. Preparing for and attending hearings and depositions. Must have license to practice law in California. A juris doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school is required. Should have experience representing clients in all stages of pre-trial litigation. Must have experience preparing pleadings/motions and making court appearances. Experience drafting and responding to discovery, including depositions is required. Must have legal research experience (Westlaw/Lexis). Outstanding attention to detail and high level of organizational skills are required. should have exceptional writing skills Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
