Legal Secretary The candidate will effectively communicate with witnesses, clients and colleagues. Produce and file various legal documents such as motions or judgments with courts. Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate. Maintain and update confidential files. Relaying communication and negotiating terms between clients and defendants. Scheduling court dates and managing office calendar. The candidate should have proven experience working in office setting. Knowledge of legal terminology and experience with Casenet is a plus, knowledge of MS Office. Should have outstanding time-management and typing skills. Should be able to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people. Should be energetic, self-starting, willing to learn, professional attitude and good organization skills.
