Title : Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate work in an exclusive personal injury practice. Answer and make calls to clients, opposing counsel and courts. Respond to general inquiries regarding office procedure and appointments and refer complex inquiries to attorney for further handling. Sort, log, distribute, date-stamp and/or file items received by mail and perform basic faxing, scanning, typing, filing and copying requests. Participate in the preparation of pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, briefs and correspondence of a non-dictated nature. Organize invoices and expenses in a case management software. Organize and maintain court case files to include opening, closing, and storage. Maintain attorney calendar by scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, and/or cancelling appointments with clients, courts and opposing counsel. Experience in a legal office environment working in litigation and have a working understanding of the process and workflow of a personal injury lawsuit and the ability to produce legal documents with minimum supervision is preferred. Experience in personal injury practice is required. Experience with Ringcentral, Office 365 products, case management software is preferred. Being able to speak, read, and write Spanish is preferred.
