Paralegal (Employment Litigation) The candidate will process electronically stored information (ESI). Analyze PAGA and Class data through such means as Excel. Prepare, organize, and summarize document productions. Prepare certain motion documents and other correspondence. Draft declarations and keep discovery and records logs. Organize and summarize voluminous documents, to include preparing chronologies and fact tables, as well as summarizing of deposition manuscripts. Prepare/manage subpoenas. Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediation, and trials. Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate preferred. 3 years of employment law or business litigation paralegal experience required. Highly proficient with ESI, Eclipse, Relativity, iManage, Westlaw, Excel and/or other comparable programs required. Strong litigation skills and attention to detail required. Professional appearance and professional communication with clients and co-workers required. Should be an experienced litigation paralegal to work in Employment Law Litigation Practice Group. Knowledge of federal and state employment law court rules and procedures, to include PAGA and Class procedures required. Extensive management of cases through document review applications such as Eclipse, Relativity, and Trial Director required.
