Legal Secretary The candidate should be an experienced legal secretary in the practice areas of corporate work, real estate, bankruptcy, probate/estate planning, and general litigation. Duties include but not limited to typing (from transcription/dictation) pleadings, briefs, emails, correspondence; perform e-filings; calendaring; client contact; time entry input; filing; and various other administration duties. Skills and/or qualifications: strong typing skills, excellent grammar and writing skills, exhibits good judgment and organizational skills, maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude and is approachable, ability to multi-task, proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Outlook). Prior secretarial experience is a must, preferably in the legal industry. High school or equivalent (Preferred). Must have 3 years of experience as a Secretary.
